A huge thank you to all the volunteers who bhelped make this event a spectacular success. Well done Langley Vale!
Everyone having a great time at the Coronation Celebration Party after a day of watching events either live in London or on TV. The hall was decorated with flags and a statue of HM the King by members of the Committee and Ian Watkinson generously donated his time and equipment for the occasion.

Fundraising in the village hall, coming together, one and all. Noisy chatter then excited hush as numbers come to call.
There’s Nicky on the door, selling strips and keeping house, not forgetting Brian her ever present spouse.
Big bad Russell, now he’s charge, big bucks to be won, he takes no prisoners, not even one!
Katie his glamorous assistant, just come of age, giving out prizes when you win your page.
Gin glasses clinked and rituals performed. Hoping it’s today that their number’s up and lady luck calls. Oh, what fun they had, Langley Vale bingo is certainly not just a fad!
Two fat ladies are sweating, waiting for 88, two little ducks urge 22 and Kelly’s Japs eye, is on number one.
Quick quick quick. I’m blindly looking for 90 but get clickety click.
“Ok my darling Heidi Hun…we might just find it fun.
Why not ask your Dad, If he’d like to come?
And if he says no, “he doesn’t do bingo”,
Say ‘BALLS !’”
Thank you, Russell, Nicky & Katie, for giving us Balls!!!!!
